MassCTE Secondary & Post-Secondary Awards
The MassCTE Secondary & Post-Secondary Awards recognize students that demonstrate the following:
- Personal commitment to career & technical education and to the program in which the student is enrolled.
- Success in the career & technical clinical affiliations, projects, and related work experiences.
- Success in the academic areas demonstrated by above average scores in the theoretical components in which the student is enrolled.
- Evidence of good personal character and leadership.
- Involvement in the school and community activities and/or experiences that challenge the student.

MassCTE Ad Book Design Contest
The MassCTE Ad Book Design contest recognizes a winning ad-book cover design submission. The candidates were tasked with creating a design to feature this year’s conference theme titled “Champion Your Future”. The winning design, selected from an astonishing 76 entries throughout our career vocational technical schools across the commonwealth will be showcased on our 2024 conference brochure, and the awardee will be recognized at our awards banquet.

MassCTE New Teacher Award
The MassCTE New Teacher Award recognizes a new teacher from either the academic or vocational setting that demonstrate the following:
- Exemplifies excellence in teaching in the Career & Technical High School
- has not exceed a combined maximum of 5 years teaching experience and must be a member of the MassCTE organization.
- Demonstrates evidence of good personal character and leadership.
- Demonstrates involvement in school activities and/or other experiences that challenge the teacher.

MassCTE Friend of CTE Award
The MassCTE Friend of Career & Technical Education Award salutes a member of the Business, Industry, or Political field that has demonstrated their outstanding support of Career & Technical Education in their community. The MassCTE Friend of CTE is recognized for their contribution to career & technical education and demonstrates their outstanding support of CTE in their community.
2024 MassCTE Friend of CTE Award Winner:

MassCTE Harold Pride Award
This award in the name of Harold L. Pride, first president of the Massachusetts Vocational Association, is given to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to the growth and improvement of the MVA/MassCTE.

MassCTE Marcus Ashley III Presidential Achievement Award
