MassCTE Special Recognition Awards:

Harold L. Pride Award:
This award, in the name of Harold L. Pride, first president of the Massachusetts Vocational Association, is given to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to the growth and improvement of MassCTE. We are honored to announce Carol Hartnett as the 2025 Harold L. Pride Award Winner!

Marcus Ashley III Presidential Leadership Award:
This award in the name of long-time former Executive Director Marcus Ashley recognizes an individual who demonstrates a spirit of dedication to the CVTE community, and goes above and beyond in supporting the ongoing needs of the organization and the entire CVTE community. We are honored to announce Dr. Sheila Harrity as the 2025 Marcus Ashley III Presidential Leadership Award Winner!

It is with honor that we dedicate the 2025 MassCTE Conference & Awards Banquet to the life and legacy of the late Dr. Gerald Paist, whose visionary leadership and tireless contributions to Career Vocational Technical Education (CVTE) in Massachusetts have left an indelible mark on the field. Dr. Paist’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence, his advocacy for students, and his dedication to shaping  Career Vocational Technical Education continue to inspire us all. This conference is a tribute to his profound impact and the lasting influence he had on educators, students, and the CVTE community.
