MAVA OSHA 510 & 511 Courses – June 2026

REGISTER TODAY

  • Earn 3 Graduate or 3 Undergraduate Credits from Fitchburg State University
  • The OSHA 510 or 511 taken for Fitchburg State Univ. Credits (5th day), may be a substitute for the DESE Science Course licensure requirement
  • Earn Required Safety PDPs towards C.74 Licensure Renewal
  • Provide students with hands-on OSHA 10 or 30 certification, rather than computer software-based safety training

The OSHA 510 Construction and 511 General Industry Certification are both 4 days, Monday – Thursday, and the 5th day, is optional and allows students to earn 3 Graduate or 3 Undergraduate Credits through Fitchburg State University (FSU).

The 5th day FSU credit class for 510 Construction will be delivered REMOTE (see below).

The 5th day FSU credit class for 511 General Industry will be held in-person on-site all 5 days.

OSHA 510 Occupational Safety & Health Standards for Construction

Dates: June 1-4 in-person, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Dates: 5th day will be REMOTE on June 8th and June 10th, 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

OSHA 510 Construction Course Description:

A comprehensive training program designed by OSHA to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of safety regulations, hazard recognition, and prevention strategies specific to the construction industry. Learn ‘how to’ use the 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards Code of Federal Regulations. Participants must attend all modules and pass a multiple-choice examination for successful course completion.

The OSHA 510 Construction Course satisfies the 1st prerequisite requirement to enroll in OSHA 500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction

OSHA 511 Occupational Safety & Health Standards for General Industry

Dates: June 8-12, 2026

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

OSHA 511 General Industry Course Description

A comprehensive training program developed by OSHA to provide participants with a thorough understanding of safety regulations, hazard identification, and prevention techniques applicable to a wide range of general industry settings. Learn ‘how to’ use 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standards Code of Federal Regulations. Participants must attend all modules and pass a multiple-choice examination for successful course completion.

The OSHA 511 General Industry Course satisfies the 1st prerequisite requirement to enroll in OSHA 501Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry.

All courses must have a minimum enrollment of 8 participants to run.
