A visit from Governor Maura Healey was a truly special moment for Bristol Aggie—one that reflected the collective effort and pride of our entire campus community.
Thank you Governor for your support of Agricultural Education and the Bristol Aggie campus!
From start to finish, our students were the highlight of the day. They represented Bristol Aggie with authenticity, confidence, and professionalism—whether speaking with guests, demonstrating hands-on projects, or showcasing the depth of their technical and workforce development skills. In real time, you could see the impact of a specialized agricultural education and the meaningful preparation taking place every day across our campus.
What makes Bristol Aggie unique is the complexity and rigor of our majors. Our students are not only learning foundational skills, but also engaging in advanced, industry-aligned experiences that prepare them for both immediate entry into the workforce and success in post-secondary education. This balance is what positions Bristol Aggie at the center of vocational agricultural education in the Commonwealth.
Throughout the visit, our programs came to life through student-led demonstrations and conversations—each one highlighting the knowledge, responsibility, and leadership our students are developing. Their impact was undeniable.
We are grateful for the support and partnership of Secretary Zrike from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education, the Under Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Alysia Ordway, the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, and our legislative delegation for spending the day with us and investing in the future of agricultural education.
