Nashoba Tech cosmetology students volunteer at annual Hair Care event

WESTFORD — Cosmetology students at Nashoba Valley Technical High School recently volunteered on a Sunday at the annual Hair Care event hosted by the Department of Children and Families’ Lowell Branch.
The 15 students, along with professional barbers, helped more than 20 children feel their absolute best by washing, braiding, twisting, coiling and cutting the children’s hair.
The event invites foster parents to Nashoba Tech to learn how to care for textured hair from specialists from Salon Forza in Andover while the children are receiving the services.
Students who participated are: Isabella Alvares (sophomore, Pepperell), Shannen Bardzik (junior, Westford), Abigail Ehwa (freshman, Townsend), Riley Moreno (freshman, Pepperell), Alanna Perez (freshman, Littleton), Brooklynn Pilotte (freshman, Westford), Tessa Resnick (sophomore, Littleton), Samara Sanders (sophomore, Shirley), Gabriela Santos (freshman, Westford), Isabella Soto (sophomore, Ayer), Annabella Trindade (freshman, Chelmsford), Max Trotter (senior, Shirley), Destiny Yancy (freshman, Chelmsford), Alexis Yarossi (freshman, Westford) and Lilliana Zografos (freshman, Townsend).
