AMINGHAM, Mass. —

A free health care clinic at a Massachusetts high school is offering essential medical services to people in need.

Remote Area Medical has transformed Keefe Technical High School in Framingham into a full-service clinic, providing care ranging from dental fillings to vision checks and routine check-ups.

They also provide free eyeglasses to those who need them.

A translator is on-site, and all of this care is completely free to everyone, no questions asked.

"We have a lot of patients who are so incredibly thankful," said Kim Faulkinbury, clinic coordinator for Remote Area Medical. "They might not have a doctor that they go to normally."

Faulkinbury said some patients might not have dental or vision insurance and won’t be able to afford those services.

"We’re so pleased to be able to be here and help people out and let them receive those essential services that they need," Faulkinbury said.

On Saturday alone, the clinic attended to more than 250 patients.

Remote Area Medical travels the country, providing these free pop-up clinics, and is 100% donations-based. The clinic will be accepting patients on Sunday starting at 6 a.m., but everything will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The parking lot to the clinic opens at midnight, and organizers advise arriving as early as possible to receive care.
