Included in this evening’s “Commissioner’s Weekly Update 9 -11 -23”, is the initial notice concerning the U. S. Presidential Scholars Program!
Presidential Scholar Nominations Due Oct. 6:
“Commissioner Riley is seeking school nominations of high school seniors for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Nominations can be submitted via email to achievement and are due Friday, October 6. More details can be found on DESE’s U.S. Presidential Scholars Program webpage, where the nomination form and all submission requirements will be posted later this week.
This includes 2024 U.S. CTE Presidential Scholars. Massachusetts has enjoyed a very successful history in this program with our students receiving Semifinalist Recognitions and National Scholar recipients. Counting tomorrow there are only 19 school days left until the nomination deadline. Also, the DESE link provided above has yet to be updated from last year.
Despite, the short timeframe, we are certain that you have 2 outstanding nominees (male & female) for the 2024 Award.
