MAVA Leaders …
I’m pleased to announce that Registration is now open for the MAVA General Membership Meeting on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough.
Commissioner Jeffrey Riley will speak, we will honor six U.S. Presidential Scholar nominees, and we will have several breakout sessions. One is on OSHA/safety in our schools. It will include OSHA Compliance Specialists and a representative from Keene State College. The second breakout session is on protection of our schools against cyber breaches and ransomware attacks. It will be run by a veteran insurance executive. And several of our MAVA Leadership Groups also will hold meetings. So far, six of the 11 groups have confirmed, four haven’t notified us either way, and one has decided not to meet. I have attached the draft Agenda so you can read the details.
For MAVA members, the price will be the same as last fall’s General Membership Meeting: $175 for both the meeting and dinner or $125 for only the meeting. (For non-MAVA members, prices will be $225 and $175, respectively.)
To register, use this link: https://mava.us/event/general-membership-meeting-2/. In the alternative, go to the Calendar on the www.MAVA.us website, find March 16, and click on General Membership Meeting.
I look forward to seeing you.
