Each year, the Massachusetts Career & Technical Educators Organization celebrates outstanding individuals in several categories. Application submissions are due by January 23, 2026 for each Award Categories:

MassCTE is proud to announce our 2026 awardees.  An evening of celebration and recognition of our awardees will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026.

  • Secondary Student Awards

  • Harold Pride Award
    • State Representative Adam Scanlon
      This award in the name of Harold L. Pride, first president of the Massachusetts Vocational Association, is given to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to the growth and improvement of the MVA (now MassCTE).

 

  • Marcus Ashley III Presidential Leadership Award
    • Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Timothy P. Murray
      This award in the name of long-time former Executive Director Marcus Ashley recognizes an individual who demonstrates a spirit of dedication to the CTE community, and goes above and beyond in supporting the ongoing needs of the organization and the entire CTE community
