We are pleased to share this this exciting collaboration between Minuteman Tech in Lexington and Boston Children’s Museum. This partnership has resulted in a new permanent exhibit, “Dream it! Build it”! It is certainly a remarkable accomplishment. A benefit to the Boston Children’s Museum and all the children who visit the museum.
This type of collaboration is accomplished by Chapter 74 vocational technical & agricultural schools and their students across the Commonwealth. Partnerships with non-profits, municipalities, and charitable organizations, provide real-life work experiences for our students while providing high quality results for residents. A true win-win collaboration!!

Minuteman Students Featured in Boston Children’s Museum’s New Dream it! Build it! Exhibit
LEXINGTON, Mass. — Four Minuteman High School students are helping inspire the next generation of builders, designers, and skilled trades professionals as featured participants in Boston Children’s Museum’s new permanent exhibit, Dream it! Build it!
Drew Morse, Carpentry; Scarlett Paradis, Metal Fabrication & Joining Technologies; Joey Vader, Electrical; and Paige King, Plumbing are featured in videos throughout the interactive exhibit, sharing their experiences as students exploring careers in the skilled trades.
Designed for children ages 4–8 and their families, Dream it! Build it! introduces visitors to construction, architecture, engineering, and the skilled trades through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and stories from people working in these fields.
Minuteman was one of three local youth-serving organizations that partnered with Boston Children’s Museum during the development of the exhibit. The collaboration gives young visitors an opportunity to see real students pursuing careers and learn that there are many pathways to building, creating, and solving problems. The exhibit includes experiences focused on building, design, sustainability, engineering, and collaboration; encouraging children to explore how their creativity can shape the world around them.
For Minuteman, the partnership highlights the impact of career and technical education and the opportunities available to students who want to turn their passions into purpose. Dream it! Build it! is now open to the public at Boston Children’s Museum, 308 Congress Street in Boston.
