As the new school year begins and we bring new Chapter 74 instructors into our school, it is not too early to alert them of this proven program to prepare your new vocational instructors for the vocational technical literacy test. Most of us also have teachers who have struggled to pass this test and could use this short course in October to better prepare them to succeed. Please share this proven preparation course with them!

Do you have any vocational technical instructors who are preparing to take the Vocational Literacy Tests for the first time (Reading or Writing)? Or do you have any instructors who are struggling to pass one or both of these tests?

If so, encourage them to sign up for MAVA’s VTEL Preparation course taking place in-person at Assabet Valley this Fall! This proven preparation course provides support to those who have been out of the classroom and away from academic reading and writing while in industry.

This course is also great for boosting the confidence of those who are looking to sharpen their writing, close reading, and grammatical skills before taking the tests. While the Vocational Reading and Writing tests are both reviewed, there is a focus on summary and multi-paragraph writing, which is where most test-takers struggle.
