WESTFORD — Students in Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s Outdoor Club recently performed community-service work and trail maintenance at the historic Lime Kiln Quarry on Littleton Road in Chelmsford.
Working with Phil Stanway of Chelmsford’s, a director for the Chelmsford Land Conservation Trust, the students and adviser Amy St. Arnaud cleared branches and overgrowth from the trails and quarry pits. They also hiked around the property and its caves and learned its history.
Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, members of the Outdoor Club also enjoyed hiking, kayaking, snow tubing, stargazing and skiing.
