Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech Celebrates Multicultural Week: April 14–17, 2025
Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School is proud to announce its annual Multicultural Week, taking place from Monday, April 14th through Thursday, April 17th, 2025. This vibrant weeklong celebration honors the rich cultural diversity of our school community through music, dance, art, and storytelling.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to engage with performers and cultural experiences that highlight traditions from around the globe. Events will be held during all three lunch periods, with a culminating school-wide assembly on Thursday.
Schedule of Events:
● Monday, April 14 | 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Dance Party featuring a live DJ, a 360-photo booth, and community resource tables.
● Tuesday, April 15 | 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Multicultural muralists and painters that will create a live artwork
● Wednesday, April 16 | 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
African Drummers will energize the cafeteria with rhythm and tradition.
● Thursday, April 17 | 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
A school-wide assembly in the Fieldhouse featuring the Wampanoag Singers and Dancers, showcasing Indigenous culture and history.
