EASTON — Southeastern teacher Jennifer McNally has received national recognition for her work in skilled trades education. According to a community announcement, McNally, who teaches cabinetry at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, is one of five winners of Carhartt’s inaugural Steel Apple award. The award honors her contributions to the field.

Carhartt presented McNally with a Steel Apple trophy and a $10,000 donation for her classroom. Since 2016, she has been a dedicated member of the Southeastern community, sharing her industry knowledge with students.

Her background in boatbuilding enhances her teaching, focusing on detail, planning, math, and quality.
