Knowing not all of us are ACTE members, I wanted to again share this opportunity with a Region I Annual Conference in Foxborough!!

Let’s showcase the “Gold Standard” Chapter 74 vocational technical & agricultural education here in Massachusetts! We really hope you consider submitting a proposal for a breakout session. There will be 8 sessions over the two-day period. A link for additional information is copied below.

Interested in submitting a session proposal to present at the 2025 Region I Leadership Conference? The Region I Conference is a chance to Connect, Collaborate, and Celebrate. Proposals that highlight High Quality CTE best practices and innovations provides an opportunity for Region I educators to connect to learn from each other and form relationships through networking that fosters collaboration in our region. The deadline to submit a proposal is January 31, 2025.

2025 Region I Leadership Conference – Call for Proposals

Thank you for your interest in submitting a session proposal to present at the 2025 Region I Leadership Conference – Call for Proposals. The Region I Conference is a chance to Connect, Collaborate, and Celebrate. Proposals that highlight High Quality CTE best practices and innovations provides an opportunity for Region I educators to connect to learn from each other and form relationships through networking that fosters collaboration in our region. The 2025 Leadership Conference will be held March 26-28, in Foxborough, MA, which is in the greater Boston area.

Proposal submissions should align with the ACTE High Quality CTE Framework. You will be asked to identify one of the high-quality elements listed below with your submission.

  • Standard-Aligned and Integrated Curriculum
  • Sequencing and Articulation
  • Student Assessment
  • Prepared and Effective Program Staff
  • Engaging Instruction
  • Access and Equity
  • Facilities, Equipment, Technology, and Materials
  • Business and Community Partnerships
  • Student Career Development
  • Career and Technical Student Organizations
  • Work-Based Learning
  • Data and Program Improvement

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your successful programs and initiatives and share your expertise with colleagues.

The deadline to submit a proposal is January 31, 2025.

To have your session proposal considered for the program, please fully complete the form below. A maximum of two proposals per individual may be submitted, but each must be submitted individually. If you do not receive a confirmation message after submitting this form, please contact Dominique Hubbard (dhubbard) to verify the status of your submission.

The person submitting a proposal is the primary contact and is responsible for notifying all other participants of acceptance, rejection, scheduling and any other information provided by ACTE. All speakers are required to register for the conference and pay their own expenses (e.g., travel, lodging, etc.) If you are accepted as a speaker, you will receive a reduced registration rate of $250. Please note, speakers being offered a session commitment for the conference must be able to present on either March 27th or March 28th.

Each proposal will be evaluated by a panel of reviewers and submitters will be notified of their status by the end of February.
