Colleagues,

We are most pleased to share this excellent work being done by students at Bristol Plymouth Regional Vocational Technical School in Taunton as part of a school wide effort in recognition of February as Black History Month.

We extend our appreciation and thanks to Pamela Casna, Principal-Assistant Director at Bristol Plymouth for sharing this with us.

The students have done a project in their Chapter 74 program to research and highlight contributions of people of color in their respective fields!!

Students in the Design & Visual Communications program used their Design & Visual Communications skills to develop posters that were then put up in high traffic areas around the school. Samples of these incredible posters are copied below.

For the final week of the month, we will be announcing a trivia question each morning related to one of the people highlighted on the posters and students will come put their answer in a jar to win a small prize at the end of the day.
