Superintendent John Lavoie and Greater Lawrence Technical School were proud to welcome officials from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) last Tuesday for the formal presentation of our "Air Agency Certificate"!
This event officially marked our status as a certified aviation maintenance school. This milestone reflects our commitment to the highest standards of safety, instructional quality, and program oversight.
The aviation industry continues to soar—with hundreds of thousands of new maintenance technicians needed globally over the next decade, our students are perfectly positioned to meet that demand!
We were honored to be joined by State Representative Frank A. Moran and members of our District Committee to celebrate this important hand-off. A special thank you to our Culinary Arts students, who showcased their incredible skills by catering the event!
