MAVA President is Keynote Speaker —- NCLA

Friends of Vocational Technical and Agricultural Education,

In the event you were not aware, MAVA President, Aaron Polansky, was the Opening Keynote Speaker at the recent national conference of NCLA. The Best Practices and Innovations in CTE Conference, co-hosted by the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) and National Council of Local Administrators (NCLA), is an annual event focused on the professional development for administrators of both secondary and postsecondary career and technical education (CTE) programs and institutions. It was held September 24-26th in St Louis, Missouri.

MAVA is very proud to have one of our Massachusetts leaders opening the national conference!

Aaron Polansky Superintendent, Keynote Speaker,

This event and brand new keynote was the culmination of months of preparation and came with a few special surprises for everyone in attendance. We explored the concept of risk-taking and connected on a profoundly personal level. We even made mention of a few friends along the way (Mr. Alderman, Steven Brown, Ernest F. Houle).

Having some of my closest colleagues and friends present made the experience even more special. The ACTE and NCLA crowd was off the charts. My thanks to Rachael Mann M.Ed and the NCLA_CTE and ACTE team for the opportunity to contribute. My heart is full.
