It is with sincere pleasure that we share the appointment of another MAVA member to the DESE Artificial Intelligence Taskforce for this school year.
Joel McAuliffe – has been appointed from the Holyoke Public Schools!!! Joel serves as the Career and Technical Education Director at Dean Tech!
Joel has the experience and expertise to be a valuable addition to the DESE Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force for the 2025-2026 school year. We have every confidence that he will provide another voice to the position of the Chapter 74 vocational technical and agricultural community.
MAVA is most pleased to have a second perspective of a Chapter 74 professional educator on the Task Force as it relates to the unique impact that AI has on vocational technical and agricultural education. The task force meets on the first Monday of each month from 3-4:30 pm. The first meeting will be held virtually on Monday, October 6th, from 3:00-4:30 pm.
