Bristol Aggie Campus Project Honored with the Edward Kirkbride Award
Superintendent Derek Costa and HMFH Architects Presented at Northeast 2025 Regional Conference
Dighton, MA – Bristol County Agricultural High School is proud to announce that Superintendent Derek Costa and Bobby Williams | HMFH Architects were selected to present at the Northeast 2025 Annual Regional Conference of the National Association for Planning and Building. $105 million reimagined Bristol Aggie campus, a transformational project in agricultural and technical education.
The Edward Kirkbride Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), of exceptional planning, design excellence, and a deeply collaborative construction process. This distinction places Bristol Aggie among the most forward-thinking and innovative educational institutions in the country.
“Our campus is more than a place to learn—it is a living classroom that reflects our mission and values,” said Superintendent Derek Costa. “From immersive outdoor learning environments to vibrant, community-centered spaces, this campus represents a new era for vocational and agricultural education.”
The Bristol Aggie campus design thoughtfully integrates specialized agricultural programs with real-world, hands-on learning. Sustainability, functionality, and connectivity are woven throughout the site, making it a model for the future of career and technical education (CTE).
