We are pleased to share this update from Jarrod Lussier, MassCTE Leadership Coordinator. In the event you are not aware Jarrod is the Vocational Supervisor/Cooperative Coordinator at Southeastern Regional.
MassCTE Leadership Day, an annual professional development event, occurred on March 28, 2025, at the Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place, Gillette Stadium.
Jarrod is sharing the incredibly successful event both in a written summary below as well as a link to a powerful 1-minute video overview.
Having personally spoken to many of the participants the next day at the MassCTE Conference, they found it to be one of the most stimulating and powerful PD programs they had ever attended!! Not a surprise when you read below the incredible list of presenters during the daylong event. And the energy and leadership of Jarrod.

MassCTEHighlight (2).mp4“I’m excited to share a fantastic video showcasing one of my favorite events of the year that I’m proud to help coordinate: the MassCTE Leadership Day. This annual professional development event occurred on March 28, 2025, at the Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place, Gillette Stadium.
This year’s theme, "Remember Your Why," invited educators to reflect on the purpose and passion behind their work. The day was filled with inspiring presentations and student-led initiatives that truly brought the theme to life. A highlight was the opening presentation, “The Bigger Picture,” delivered by an outstanding group of Southeastern Regional students: Zachary Wright, Davi Affonso, Shea Calnen, Malcom Zetrenne, Julius DeOliveira-Joseph, and Jary Donnalson. Their insights set the tone for an impactful day.
A special shoutout goes to Litz Arias Torres, a talented student from Southeastern Regional, who filmed and edited the featured video, beautifully capturing the energy and spirit of the event.
I want to extend heartfelt thanks to our incredible presenters: Heidi Driscoll, Superintendent-Director of Minuteman School District; Kevin McCaskill, Principal of Brockton High School; Catie Tuccinardi, VP of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment; Dr. Joanne Boucher, Director of Special Education at Southeastern Regional; Dominique Williams Sr., Associate Principal at Taunton High School; and Nick Correia from Herren Wellness. Their powerful messages and practical strategies were key in making the day meaningful and memorable for everyone. Please stay on the lookout for the 2026 Conference, tentatively scheduled for early spring!”
