WESTFORD — The Nashoba Career Technical Institute at Nashoba Valley Technical High School will host two free 200-hour training programs in spring 2025 for those looking for a career in plumbing or electrical.
The plumbing program starts on March 3 and will be held onsite Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to noon, through May 17, plus four hours of online training. Trainees will learn skills and earn credentials in Plumbing Tier 1, OSHA 10 Construction Safety, CSST TracPipe & Viega (PP/MP) and Hot Work Safety.
The electrical program starts on March 11 and will be held onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through May 10, with five hours of online training.
Trainees will learn skills including OSHA 10 Construction Safety, Hot Work Safety and Ramset-ITW Powder Actuated Tools.
