FALL RIVER—On Monday, October 21, 2024, Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School Superintendent Brian Bentley announced new members of its administration team to the school community, including Assistant Superintendent and Principal Leslie Weckesser and Director of Guidance Lin Griffin. “I am thrilled to have this Administration Team totally in place and to continue Diman’s success under the leadership of Lin and Leslie,” said Superintendent Brian Bentley.

Leslie Weckesser comes to Diman as an Assistant Superintendent and Principal with extensive experience in career and technical education. Before arriving at Diman, she served as Principal and Vocational Director at Southeastern Regional in Easton.

Ms. Weckesser is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of New England. Ms. Weckesser adds, “I am thrilled to be part of a community known for its commitment to high standards in career and technical education.”

Director of Guidance Linda Griffin previously served as a school guidance counselor at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School and has been a leader in education for 12 years.

While at Greater New Bedford, Ms. Griffin paid close attention to systems and processes, specifically in credit equity. She’s passionate about building strong partnerships with local school districts to create opportunities for students in the Greater Fall River communities.

Ms. Griffin holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Bridgewater State University, a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, both from Fitchburg State College, and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Regis College.
