Our Super Delegation Advocating in D.C. for Chapter 74 Vocational Technical & Agricultural Education!

MAVA Colleagues,

Our Massachusetts Super Delegation are Advocating in D.C. for Massachusetts Chapter 74 Vocational Technical & Agricultural Education!

We are very proud and appreciative of the efforts of Superintendents Eric Duda, Karen Maguire, and Ernie Houle for traveling to DC on our behalf! Could not have better representation!

They have had good meetings with Department of Labor Deputy Assistant Secretary Manny Lamarr about the Hazardous Occupations for Minors yesterday.

In addition, they met with members of both Senator Markey’s and Senator Warren’s offices.

On the House side, they met with staff in the offices with Congresswoman Lori Trahan and Congressmen Jake Auchincloss and Richard Neal. Today they had a personal meeting with Congressman Jim McGovern.

This evening our delegation with be attending a reception with the National House/Senate CTE Caucus.
