Join us Thursday at 2:00pm for Pioneer & MAVA’s Webinar……. “Vocational Technical Schools and Urban Education Reform”!!!

Voc-Tech Schools & Urban Education Reform

Pioneer’s book Hands-On Achievement: Massachusetts’s National Model Vocational-Technical Schools demonstrated that our Commonwealth is the nation’s leader in vocational-technical schooling. And yet, the state’s urban high schools continue to have deep pockets of chronic underperformance among poor and minority students. We invite you to join Pioneer and the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators (MAVA) for a webinar Thursday, February 8th from 2-3PM on the nexus between the Bay State’s excellent voc-tech schools, urban education, and the recent policy debates about voc-tech admissions policies.

Join an expert panel including Warley Williams, Heidi Riccio, & Kevin McCaskill!

AGENDA:

· Introductory Remarks by Jamie Gass (5 minutes)

· Moderated panel by MAVA’s David Ferreira with (40 minutes) panelists:
