MAVA Colleagues,
It is with pleasure that we forward this exciting and wonderful update from our Executive Director.

MAVA Leaders …
We just received this wonderful picture from Karen Ward, Executive Director of SkillsUSA Massachusetts. It shows our SkillsUSA state officers heading to the Leadership Training Institute in Washington, D.C.
As we have in past years, MAVA is helping to fund the trip. Karen and the officers are very appreciative.
At some point, we will ask them to make a presentation at one of our MAVA meetings.

It is with great appreciation that I share the attached photo of our student officers who, this morning, are traveling with staff to Washington DC for the Washington Leadership Training Institute (WLTI) thanks to the partnership and generosity of MAVA.
This conference will provide them with many life changing experiences including a meeting with Acting Labor Secretary, Julie Su, Congressional meetings and a visit to the Pentagon courtesy of Navy Captain Eric Johnson (Tri-County Alumni). We are very grateful for MAVA’s support of their experiences.
