Mr. Bay Path Announces Retirement

MAVA Colleagues,

It is that time of the year when we begin to receive announcements of our colleagues who will be entering retirement. We would ask that you alert us of all of your MAVA retirees. As you are well aware, we honor our retirees each year at the Annual Retiree Recognition Dinner and MAVA Awards Ceremony. It will again be held at our Retreat on Wednesday evening, August 2nd beginning with a 5:30 reception. The location remains the Devens Common Center. Please mark your calendar.

We thank superintendent Kyle Brenner for alerting us to the retirement of an incredibly talented professional educator who devoted over 50 years to his alma matter, Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School.

Principal Cliff Cloutier

“Mr. Bay Path” has decided to pass the baton and retire at the end of this school year. If you didn’t know, just over 50 years ago, Cliff was a member of the first freshman class to enter and graduate from the newly opened Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School.

While attending college, he worked in the Bay Path Radio Station in the late 70’s.

Upon graduation from college, he was hired as an Audio Visual/Media Technician and 43 years later he has the unique distinction of walking out the door as the first and only Principal of Bay Path! The school will be searching for a new Principal to lead the school, they will never be able to replace Cliff!

An amazing accomplishment, by an amazing educator.
