MVA Award Presented to Senator Moore

The Vocational Technical Friend of Vocational Education Award was Presented – August 25, 2022

Massachusetts Vocational Association (MVA) representative Don Erickson was honored to present the Vocational Technical Friend of Vocational Education Award plaque and a certificate of recognition to Senator Michael Moore for his exceptional devotion and support of vocational education. The presentation occurred on August 18th during BVT’s School Committee meeting.

The Friend of Vocational Education Award is given to a member(s) of a business, industry, or political affiliate for their exceptional devotion and support of career and technical education. After Mr. Erickson presented the award to Senator Moore. The Senator thanked Mr. Erickson, Dr. Fitzpatrick, and the members of the School Committee for their dedication to vocational-technical education and its impact on our communities and economy.

Senator Moore was honored to have received two certificates of recognition from the Massachusetts Vocational Association. He later stated, “I’m proud of the work I’ve done to support vocational schools – the knowledge and skills these schools provide are critical to student success.”
